Associate Chaplains Training
A short course of six 1½ hour sessions is the normal training offered, though this can be adapted to meet local needs. Training is arranged for each locality, group of churches or chaplaincy project.
The full course covers:
- Why Chaplaincy? - How chaplaincy can be part of the work of the Church.
- Economic realities. - The context for workplace ministry.
- Chaplaincy as pastoral presence - how we care for people at work.
- Practicalities of visiting people at work - the dos and the don'ts.
- Chaplaincy as Transformational Engagement - working for justice in the workplace
- Chaplaincy and the Church - connecting faith and work for the whole congregation.

Associate Chaplains Training: October 2009
Three sessions will be held at the Ecumenical Centre, Redditch on Thursdays October 8th, 15th and 22nd each running from 7.30 - 9 p.m.
