Associate Chaplains Commissioning
It is vital that Associate Chaplains are supported by their own church and local Churches Together group. Once training is complete a short Commissioning Service normally takes place, as part of a main Sunday service.
Faith at Work in Worcestershire, being itself an ecumenical partnership, encourages local ministry to happen ecumenically wherever possible. Where appropriate commissioning can also therefore be part of a local Ecumenical Service.
Appropriate occasions for commissioning will be discussed as part of the training provided.
